The Senior Manager will lead communications for our supply chain function across North America. This is a comprehensive communications role, including media, culture and engagement communications, and issues management. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, cross functional environment, can connect the dots across teams, and who brings exceptional writing skills, strategic intuition for business, and a bias for action. This role is hybrid out of our East Hanover, NJ office - 50% of the time. Primary Responsibilities • Develop and implement a communications strategy that drives business priorities and aligns with company culture, inspiring supply chain colleagues across the region. • Lead development and execution of holistic employee engagement program for the North America supply chain function working with cross functional partners, to include messaging, content calendar, events, volunteer opportunities, announcements, speeches, and other key milestones. • Manage issues that could potentially impact company reputation by acting as a strategic advisor, developing and driving robust communication plans, including media relations. Position Requirements • 8+ years demonstrated experience in media, employee engagement, and issues management. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience. • Experience organizing large corporate events with numerous stakeholders and deadlines. • 10-20% business travel Competencies • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills. • Proven ability to lead projects that deliver results. • Experience managing content calendar. • Strong writing skills. • Active listening skills with ability to understand your audience, synthesize key ideas, and weave together information to create a compelling story. • Experience with Microsoft Office suite. • Demonstrated success in leading multiple priorities, tasks, resources, deadlines, deliverables and complex timelines. • Proactive and self-starter, mature, independent and resourceful. • Ability to take ownership for actions, behaviors, and contributions, while inspiring and motivating self and others. • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and ability to work in fast paced, dynamic environment and prioritize across competing initiatives. • Manage events budgets and deliver reports on results. Salary and Benefits: The base salary range for this position is $137,300 to $188,815; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
