Job Description Job Summary Provides leadership and direction to their Sales channels in all approved Molina markets. Serve as the primary contact for their channel's distribution of assigned Molina products, and resolution of operational issues, by either directly handling or escalating to the attention of the AVP so appropriate action can be taken. Works directly with their channel management staff and other department and State Leadership to drive the growth of Molina Membership. Supports their staff in the development and enhancement of relationships with local market leaders who influences Molina's reputation and the purchasing decisions of our target population. Helps to create and regularly reviews the reports and scorecards used to evaluate sales and compliance results in each state and nationally, as well as regularly spends time in each state meeting with key personnel in an effort to provide a clear view of organizational objectives, key priorities, successes, challenges, and an overall commitment to their success Knowledge/Skills/Abilities • Coordinates the development, implementation and production of the annual marketing strategy and objectives for Molina Medicare's portfolio of Medicare products. • Responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the sales and marketing plan with the goal of retaining existing members and growing membership profitably. This includes: • Developing, implementing, improving, and maintaining Marketing Operations for Molina Medicare. • Directing and analyzing Market Research Activities for Molina Medicare. • Production of Sales and Marketing Productivity Reporting for Molina Medicare. • Developing and analyzing Marketing Efficacy Reporting for Molina Medicare. • Maintaining and implementing Internal Sales and Broker commission monitoring, payment and reporting process • Maintaining and improving the sales expense report review process • Maintaining and improving the sales and marketing budget report process • Maintaining and improving the CMS materials submission process • Production of all Marketing Materials for Molina Medicare • Works with and supports internal business units in a matrix relationship (e.g., telemarketing, provider network management, operations, compliance, finance, marketing, market research, pharmacy, IT, etc.) to ensure the successful development and implementation of the annual marketing plan. • Responsible for regulatory compliance and may be responsible for interfacing with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and other regulatory agencies on matters concerning Marketing. • Works under the supervision of the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Molina Medicare. Job Qualifications Required Education Bachelor's Degree preferably in Healthcare management or any health-related degree Required Experience • Experience: 5+ years’ experience working in the Medicare managed healthcare marketing field. • Strong ability to collaborate with others to gain consensus in meeting corporate and health plan objectives. • Ability to manage employees and influence decisions and issue resolution in a matrix management environment. • Strong project management skills preferred. Knowledge of CMS regulations in a managed care environment mandatory • Licensed in Health Preferred Education Master's in healthcare; work experience may be substituted.
