Full Description

Summary:  The Senior Project Coordinator is responsible for the entire sales order fulfillment process, ensuring an elevated level of accuracy throughout order entry to invoicing while managing projects, supporting multiple sales personnel, and delivering exceptional, timely service to clients and customers. Essential Functions:  * Successfully manage a book of business valued at $7.0M or more, handling both large/complex projects and smaller orders simultaneously with basic furniture specification knowledge. * Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing large complex initiatives with smaller routine projects to ensure timely completion and quality outcomes.  * High proficiency in Contracts (including but not limited to GSA, GPO, OMNIA, Premier etc.) and Commercial order processing. * Collaboration on kick-off meetings for large, scaled projects. * Assist in mentorship and training of new hires in the PC Department. * Maintain an elevated level of accuracy in the order entry process, including reviewing orders for contractual compliance, verifying coding accuracy, submitting purchase orders, checking and reconciling acknowledgements, and resolving vendor discrepancies. * Manage communications with customers regarding order status, scheduling, and providing necessary clarification for inquiries.  * Prepares installation packages and coordinate installation details, including scheduling, scope of work, and special site conditions for installers. * Other duties as assigned, which may include, but are not limited to: 1. Special reports for upper management and clients. 2. Engaging in department progression with innovative ideas and methods. 3. Ability to create customer proposals.    Core Competencies:  * Project Management & Coordination- Oversees multiple complex projects simultaneously ensuring timelines while maintaining alignment with company goals and client expectations. * Leadership & Team Support - Provides guidance, mentorship, and direction to project coordinators, fosters collaboration and promotes best practices across teams. * Customer & Client Focus- Delivers exceptional service building and maintaining strong relationships by ensuring timely communication. * Process Improvement & Compliance- Analyze existing workflows to identify areas for improvement, ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, and drives efficiency through process enhancements. * Organizational Skills- Maintains accurate project documentation, schedules, and reporting in CORE while managing competing priorities effectively. * Attention to Detail & Accuracy- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail by thoroughly vetting orders for order entry and carefully reviewing acknowledgements. * Problem Solving & Critical Thinking- Effectively identifies and resolves order-related discrepancies and issues by analyzing root causes, anticipating potential challenges, and implementing practical, timely solutions to maintain workflow efficiency and customer/client satisfaction. * Technical Proficiency - Proficient in ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning and applying new technologies to improve workflow. * Strategic Alignment – Consistently makes decisions and takes actions that support the organization’s mission, vision, and long-term goals. * Adaptability & Growth – Embraces feedback, change, and continuous learning to improve performance and outcomes. * Collaboration – Builds strong working relationships by listening actively, anticipating needs, and supporting the success of others. * Communication – Shares information clearly and respectfully, ensuring timeliness and context to promote understanding. * Integrity & Trust – Demonstrates honesty, accountability, and fairness to foster confidence and belonging across the organization.  Education & Experience:  Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience in the commercial furniture industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Benefits:  You will be eligible to participate in the benefit programs offered to all full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week.
