Job Summary As part of the Community Medicine Administration team, the Business Analyst will provide detailed financial analysis on providers, procedures, payors as it pertains to the MVHS Medical Group. The Analyst will assist in the preparation of financial and statistical reporting on a monthly and annual basis as well as the annual budget. Core Job Responsibilities Work with various departments across the organization to ensure data integrity and optimization of Epic applications as best practice within the industry. Work with IT, Revenue Cycle and Ambulatory to launch new applications/dashboards to increase the productivity, quality and efficiency of our providers. Work with the Revenue Cycle Project Manager to create streamlined/standardized reporting for all financial reporting done within the medical group including: Business Cases, Pro Formas, Service Line Planing and Operational review of sites, services or providers. Work with Revenue Cycle and IT during upgrades to help ensure the ambulatory applications are built effectively and data is not compromised. Position may work with other areas within MG revenue cycle including coding, documentation, registration and financial statatements as assigned by the Revenue Cycle Project Manager. Education/Experience Requirements REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or applicable area  3 years of relevant experience with hospital, clinic, physician, and/or primary care and health system billing, charge router, coding, Epic build etc. PREFERRED:  Master's Degree/MBA 7 years of relevant experience with hospital, clinic, physician, and/or primary care and health system billing, charge router, coding, Epic build etc. Licensure/Certification Requirements    Disclaimer Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to their age, race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, age, gender (including pregnancy, childbirth, et al), sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, protected veteran status, or disability.
