Manage and coordinate DoD acquisition program execution, contract planning, risk mitigation, and reporting to senior leadership.
10+ years acquisition experience with DoD contracting and program management, experience on classified programs, strong interpersonal and briefing skills, and active Top-Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility.
Working with the customer, the candidate will also interface with major defense contractors who supply critical defense capabilities. Program planning and execution Works with Development and Production PMs for program execution Tracks requirements, coordinating with DOORS and engineering to map requirements completion with contract execution Builds RFP packages, including SOW, SOO, FOPR, contract planning, financial planning Builds Acquisition Strategy documentation, including the report and briefing (includes functional coordination) Coordinates contract award schedules and milestones with contracting Coordinates with Finance on MIPRs, Form 9, 7600A Interagency Agreements, Business Management Reviews, etc. Coordinates with vendors for risk mapping, risk tracking, and risk mitigation strategies Process analysis and optimization (work with Division and Branch processes, identify efficiencies 10 years acquisition experience Experience working DoD acquisition programs to include DoD contracting and program management strategies, generation of Justification and Authority (J&A) documents, Acquisition Strategy Plan, CDRLs, as well as assisting with creation of Statement of Objectives and Statement of Work for research and development (R&D) activities. Have experience working on classified and/or special access programs. Be a self-starter, thrive in a dynamic environment, can accomplish high-level tasks independently, is skilled in problem definition, and work well with other team members, members of the Senior Executive Service and senior military officers. Must have experience with collaboration tools including, but not limited to: Confluence and/or Jira. Must have strong interpersonal skills, be capable of developing briefings and reports accurately summarizing program performance and addressing key issues for senior DAF and OSD leadership, and other DoD offices. Extensive acquisition and contract management experience, specifically monitoring program execution and integration of complex programs and systems, and applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations. Knowledge of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's framework, directives, and policies. Experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project for financial and schedule analysis of technology projects. Bachelor's degree in engineering or business (if Business, must have at least 8 years of experience working on DoD contracts/programs having a heavy focus on engineering). Master's degree; Business, Project Management; Engineering, or other military studies related field (Desired) Project management certifications (e.g., DAU, PMP, Agile, or similar) (Desired). Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility.
