At Modern Ice you won’t fetch coffee; you’ll run the data, move the freight, and spot the savings that power production lines from coast to coast. If you’re analytical, curious, and eager to see how ops, purchasing, warehousing, and finance all click together, this is your launchpad. What You’ll Tackle (Day 1 and Beyond) Plan • Track • Improve • Map out inbound and outbound shipments, book carriers, and keep inventory in sync inside our ERP/WMS. • Watch stock levels like a hawk, trigger replenishment orders, and help design smarter reorder rules. • Own the paperwork—from BOLs to freight bills—so freight moves fast and invoices match reality. • Collaborate with suppliers, drivers, buyers, warehouse pros, and finance to solve hiccups before they touch the customer. • Drop into the warehouse during busy stretches—scan, pick, count, and learn the flow first-hand. • Build slick Excel dashboards, slice KPIs, and flag process tweaks that cut cost or shave days off lead-time. • Rotate through cross-training so you can back up teammates and explore future roles like Analyst, Planner, or Ops Supervisor. Gear You Already Bring • Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or similar (internships/part-time experience count). • Excel chops plus a knack for digging into data. • Eye for detail, calm under timeline pressure, natural team communicator. • Valid driver’s license (you may hop on a forklift—training on us). Bonus Points ERP/WMS or CRM exposure • Freight lingo • SQL or Power BI curiosity. The Fine Print (Transparency FTW) • $45 K–$55 K base + overtime + day-one performance-bonus eligibility. • Full benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid time off, company-paid life & disability. • Hours: Mon–Fri 8 a.m.–5 p.m., plus ~4 half-day Saturdays during peak season. • On-site in Greendale, IN (relocation not provided). • Potential travel: occasional customer visits, trade shows, or training.
