The Loan Review Analyst is responsible for preparing loan files for underwriting review and ensuring that all borrower and third-party documents meet agency guidelines. This includes validating documentation for VA, FHA, and conventional loans, and communicating with other departments to secure final approval.

Requirements

A four-year college degree is preferred, or 1 to 2 years of experience in a mortgage environment is required. Candidates must be able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and possess working knowledge of MS Office.

Full Description

Summary The Loan Analyst, Ops is responsible for preparing loan files for underwriting review. The Loan Analyst will be responsible for determining that all borrower documents and third-party documents meet agency and Freedom Mortgage guidelines. Essential Job Functions: Review the appropriate credit, income, property, and asset documentation for VA and FHA cash out loans and conventional cash out and rate term loans Validate submitted information from the borrower is complete and accurate Validate that 3rd party documentation is complete and accurate including but not limited to: title, appraisal, insurance, credit supplements. Communicate accuracy of documents in O.S by updating appropriate fields. Enter detail comments in OS. Run PredProtect. Run DU or LP and be able to resolve errors Run and review FraudGuard. Scan applicable checklists into EDMS. Communicate with other departments additional needs to receive final approval from underwriting. Maintain regular and punctual attendance Other Related Duties: Performs other related duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
