Job Title: Product Specialist – Pro A/V & Livestreaming (Mobile Video Devices, Inc.) Location: Reading, Pennsylvania (hybrid – two days per week in office) Employment Type: Full Time About Mobile Video Devices Mobile Video Devices (MVD) is a leading distributor of professional video equipment, with a strong focus on PTZ cameras, IP video, and livestreaming technologies. We help integrators, resellers and users deploy reliable and innovative video solutions. We do this through focusing on the solutions of our manufacturing partners. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Product Specialist / Evangelist to join our team in Reading, PA. In this role, you will: • Serve as a technical expert for our PTZ cameras, video conferencing systems, livestreaming, and network related products. • Conduct product demonstrations for prospects and customers – both virtually and in person – highlighting key features and best practices. • Consult with clients and account managers to understand their application needs and recommend appropriate solutions. • Assist with set‑up, configuration, networking and IP video integration, ensuring customers get the most from their investment. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues via phone, email or screen‑share, providing outstanding customer support. • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop training materials, webinars and content that showcase product capabilities. • Track customer feedback and work with Chief Technology Officer to inform future product development. Ideal Candidate • Technical Expertise: Experience with video production, live streaming and IP workflows; familiarity with NDI, SRT, RIST, HDMI, SDI and network cabling. • Hands‑On Experience: You’ve run your own livestreams or managed A/V systems for a studio, church, school or company. • Problem Solver: Comfortable diagnosing hardware/software issues and guiding users through solutions remotely. • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills; able to translate complex technology into clear, accessible explanations for customers. • Team Player: Willing to collaborate with sales, marketing, and engineering colleagues; open to sharing knowledge and learning from others. • Work Arrangement: Live within commuting distance of Reading/Leesport, PA and available to work in the office two days per week (hybrid schedule). Compensation & Benefits • Salary Range: $80,000 – $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience. • Competitive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, two weeks paid time off, one week flex time off for freelance work (industry related), and professional development opportunities. Travel • MVD attends tradeshows and presentations on behalf of our manufacturers in the U.S. and internationally. This travel includes events such as NAB, InfoComm, CES, ISE, IBC and more. We also attend smaller regional events as well as customer and partner meetings. Travel accounts for roughly 20% of your time.
