Infrastructure Engineer – Node Operations (Stablecoin / DeFi Focus) Location: Remote - Based in EST or CST Compensation: $175K - $225K We are a technology company on a mission to transform how money moves. We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer – Node Operations to maintain the critical resilience and performance of our blockchain systems. The Infrastructure Engineer – Node Operations will be directly responsible for managing and maintaining our core blockchain infrastructure. This includes critical components like RPC nodes, data indexers, and the internal telemetry pipeline. This role is essential for ensuring the high availability, reliability, and performance of systems that underpin our stablecoin platform. You will proactively strengthen our monitoring, automation, and operational resilience in a rapidly evolving blockchain environment. Key Responsibilities Node Management: Manage and maintain production blockchain infrastructure, including ensuring high availability and performance of RPC nodes and data indexers. Operational Resilience: Proactively strengthen our monitoring, alerting, and automation systems to enhance the operational resilience of critical infrastructure components. Telemetry & Data: Manage and optimize the telemetry pipeline components used for system health, performance tracking, and incident detection. Process Improvement: Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external vendors to improve operational processes, optimize resource usage, and streamline deployment workflows. Incident Response: Utilize strong problem-solving skills to manage and respond to incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime. Blockchain Operations: 2–3 years of hands-on experience running and maintaining production-grade blockchain RPC nodes. Cloud Expertise: Strong background and practical experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Containerization: Proficiency with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting) for orchestrating containerized services. Monitoring: Familiarity and experience with setting up and maintaining telemetry and monitoring pipelines (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Systems Improvement: Proven ability to extend and improve existing infrastructure using current best practices. Incident Management: Strong problem-solving and incident response skills in a high-stakes, production environment. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Web3 Experience: Prior experience specifically at a web3 or blockchain-focused company. Cloud Diversity: Familiarity with multiple cloud providers (AWS preferred). Data Center: Local data center management experience. Collaboration: Experience working across distributed teams and time zones. Vendor Management: Strong communication skills and proven ability to manage technical vendor relationships effectively.
