MKD Wealth | Troy, Michigan (Hybrid or Remote – Eastern Time Zone) MKD Wealth is a privately held wealth management firm serving business owners, corporate executives, and high-net-worth families. We are seeking a full-time Operations & Compliance Manager to oversee day-to-day operational systems, compliance execution, and cross-functional workflows. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, systems-minded professional who thrives in a regulated environment and enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and continuous improvement to business processes. This role does not initially include direct reports but carries significant responsibility for ensuring operational and compliance processes are executed accurately and consistently. We prefer a candidate local to the Troy, Michigan area, but will consider a fully remote candidate located within the Eastern time zone. Key Responsibilities • Own and maintain key firm systems (workflow, scheduling, communications tools) • Coordinate with external technology providers • Identify process improvements and document standard operating procedures • Support vendor documentation and due diligence tracking • Partner with client service and operations team members to ensure smooth workflows • Track operational issues through resolution • Execute and maintain recurring compliance requirements and documentation • Prepare regulatory filings and maintain testing logs • Perform review and logging of electronic communications and marketing materials • Coordinate documentation for audits and compliance reviews Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or comparable industry experience • 5+ years of experience in operations and/or compliance in an RIA • Strong organizational and project management skills • Ability to operate independently and exercise sound judgment • Technologically proficient and eager to explore new advancements • Proficiency with spreadsheets, CRM systems, and financial services software (experience with Redtail, Black Diamond, Fidelity Wealthscape, or similar systems is a plus) • Systems-oriented mindset with attention to detail What We Offer • Competitive salary and performance-based quarterly bonuses • 401(k) plan with company match • Health and dental insurance, FSA, life insurance, and short and long-term disability insurance • Paid time off and NYSE market holidays • A company culture dedicated to maintaining work-life balance with a hybrid work model • Collaborative and supportive work environment with opportunities for career growth
