Full Description

MisterHealth Counseling MisterHealth Counseling is expanding, and we’re looking for a sharp, organized, and people-focused Practice Manager to run the day-to-day operations of our counseling practice while also serving as an Executive Assistant to Dr. Mike (Founder & Clinical Director). This is not your average front desk job. You’ll be the hub of the practice—balancing client care, office management, and executive support in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. About MisterHealth Counseling MisterHealth Counseling is a forward-thinking therapy practice designed specifically for men’s mental and sexual health. Every day, you’ll be interacting with men who are seeking support around stress, relationships, intimacy, confidence, and sexual functioning. Our mission is to break stigma, empower men to prioritize their health, and provide a safe, supportive space to talk about topics most men have been told to keep quiet about. Because of this, you must be comfortable engaging in sex-positive conversations and handling sensitive client content with professionalism, warmth, and confidentiality. What You’ll Do • Client Care: • Answer phones and serve as the first point of contact for new and existing clients. • Schedule and manage client appointments across providers. • Ensure a professional, supportive, and confidential experience for every client. • Insurance & Billing: • Verify client insurance benefits and coverage. • Manage billing, claims submissions, and follow-ups with insurance companies. • Track accounts receivable and assist with financial reporting. • Practice Operations: • Oversee daily office management (supplies, vendor coordination, systems). • Ensure smooth workflows between clinicians and clients. • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and best practices for healthcare documentation. • Executive Support: • Serve as Dr. Mike’s right hand—manage his calendar, email, and administrative needs. • Assist with special projects, events, and communications. • Provide high-level administrative support with discretion and initiative. Who You Are • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive—always two steps ahead. • Warm, professional communicator with strong customer service skills. • Comfortable working in a men’s health practice where discussions often involve intimacy, sex, and relationships. • Sex-positive, open-minded, and able to hold professional boundaries while discussing sensitive topics. • Comfortable navigating the healthcare/mental health insurance world (experience with insurance billing is a must). • Tech-savvy—able to learn and manage scheduling platforms, EHR systems, and office tools quickly. • Flexible and adaptable—you thrive in a growing, entrepreneurial environment. Qualifications • 2+ years in a medical, mental health, or healthcare administrative role (required). • Experience with insurance verification and billing (required). • Prior practice management or office management experience (preferred). • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care. Why Join MisterHealth Counseling? MisterHealth is not just another counseling practice—it’s a men’s health movement. We focus on mind, body, and the bedroom to help men break through shame, build confidence, and improve their relationships and overall well-being. Working here means you’ll be part of a mission-driven team that values innovation, compassion, and professionalism. • Competitive pay (commensurate with experience) • Growth opportunities as the practice expands • Supportive team environment where your role truly matters How to Apply: Send your resume and a brief cover letter to DrMike@MisterHealth.com with the subject line: Practice Manager Application – [Your Name] Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Paid time off Work Location: In person
