Mission Staffing is seeking an experienced OTC Derivatives Operations professional to support trade confirmations and risk mitigation across equity and swap products. The role involves managing complex confirmations in a fast-paced environment and requires a strong confirmations background, ideally from a bank or large financial institution. Responsibilities • Risk mitigate and confirm OTC derivative transactions with internal and external counterparties using paper and electronic confirmation processes • Review and resolve trade confirmation language and economic breaks • Partner with counterparties to address urgent issues, clarify terms, and resolve outstanding confirmations • Draft ad hoc confirmations in collaboration with Legal • Create and maintain confirmation templates, obtaining approvals from Sales, Trading, and Legal as needed • Support strategic initiatives focused on improving efficiency and strengthening operational controls • Perform additional operational tasks as business needs dictate Skills • 5+ years of hands-on Operations experience with a strong focus on trade confirmations • Extensive knowledge of the 2002 and 2006 ISDA Equity and Swap Definitions • Experience drafting and reviewing OTC Equity Structured Products including Conditional Variance Swaps, Phoenix Autocalls, Swap Strategies, and Worst or Best Of structures • Background within a bank or comparable financial institution Company Overview • Mission Staffing is a finance and recruiting company located in New York.
