This team is responsible for increasing engagement and profitability with our customer base, growing our multicard program, assessing key portfolio risks, and improving the digital customer experience with Mission Lane. By leveraging various analytics tools, they work with cross-functional partners to drive portfolio profitability while maintaining Mission Lane's commitment to financial inclusion. As a Principal Business Analyst you will: • Drive decisions with data Leverage models and historical data to develop tests, make decisions, and inform peers and leadership of the performance of Mission Lane's portfolio • Analyze portfolio performance Report to internal stakeholders and leadership the performance of Mission Lane and how Mission Lane performs in comparison to key competitors • Collaborate cross-functionally Collaborate with product teams to execute tests and to roll-out grounded and proven initiatives • Drive strategic decision-making Be part of a team that is responsible for driving short-term and long-term revenue with a large, varied portfolio Qualifications • Proven ability to problem solve end-to-end: from framing the question and forming a hypothesis, to analyzing the data, to communicating and debating the answer with other stakeholders • Familiarity with SQL, python, or other tools for data analysis • 2 - 5 years of experience in a highly analytical role • Bachelor's or Masters in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar quantitative field with record of strong academic performance Preferred Qualifications • Experience doing analytical work with credit cards or other consumer lending products • Experience helping scale a business in a fast-paced startup environment • Expertise in SQL or Python At Mission Lane, we're all about making a real impact—and that starts with our people. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
