5+ years technical consulting, 3+ years managing technical teams, AWS certification, AI/ML experience, cloud project management, and strong leadership skills.
As Manager, GenAI Solutions, you will lead multiple Pods consisting of various configurations of Principal Consultants, Technical Leads, Solution Architects and Engineers. You will manage utilization and allocation of resources across Pods, drive process improvement, ensure customer satisfaction, and own the book of business for your team. This job is 100% remote. Responsibilities • LMA (Lead | Manage | Hold Accountable): • Lead team development, operational excellence and communication across Pods • Create a supportive environment for all team members • Hold weekly or biweekly 1:1s with all direct reports and provide daily guidance • Manage career development plans for all direct reports • Conduct quarterly performance reviews and implement performance improvement plans as needed • Support recruiting efforts for open positions across both Pods • Lead onboarding and training programs for team members • Direct team members to obtain AWS certifications • Process Development & Adherence: • Establish, document, measure, and quality check processes to ensure efficient and repeatable operations • Ensure consistent processes and standards across Pods • Support and review estimates for customer implementations, schedules, and overall planning in collaboration with Technical Leads • Monitor and regulate customer handoffs from Sales to Delivery • Ensure adherence to Mission Excellence Standards and operational quality benchmarks • Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and methodologies • Resource Utilization & Cross-Pod Allocation Management: • Manage and report team key performance indicators across Pods • Own allocation planning resource balancing to optimize utilization • Work with Technical Leads to coordinate intra and inter-Pod activities and resource sharing and allocations • Coordinate with Technical Leads on team resource assignments for client accounts • Monitor team activities to ensure successful customer implementations or migrations • Facilitate collaboration between Pods and with other professional services teams • Client Relations & Account Management: • Own the book of business of the team and ensure successful delivery outcomes • Maintain executive-level customer relationships • Serve as first line of defense for customer escalations, coordinating with Technical Leads and Principal Consultants on resolution • Partner with Technical Leads and Principal Consultants on complex customer issues requiring both technical and relationship management • Support problem management and client escalations through appropriate channels • Ensure customer satisfaction across all managed accounts and engagements • Performance Management & Team Development: • Conduct formal performance management including quarterly reviews • Develop and execute performance improvement plans when necessary • Track and manage individual and team performance metrics • Provide coaching and development support to all team members • Ensure alignment between individual performance and business objectives • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the organization • Book of Business Ownership: • Own financial performance and delivery outcomes for all Pods under management • Drive revenue growth and profitability across managed accounts • Collaborate with sales teams on expansion opportunities • Monitor project profitability and resource efficiency across the book of business • Ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction to support account retention Requirements • AI & Data Leadership: • Proven experience leading teams or initiatives in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related fields, with the ability to align AI strategies with business goals • Hands-on expertise or prior career experience in AI/ML engineering, data solutioning, or managing AI-focused teams, with the ability to translate technical depth into strategic guidance • Management Experience: • 5+ years of experience in technical consulting services or related fields • 3+ years of technical staff management experience with customer-facing teams, including performance management • Experience managing multiple teams or complex organizational structures • Strong experience in resource allocation and utilization management • Proven track record in account management and customer relationship building • Technical Background: • Experience in managing Cloud teams and associated projects • Understanding of AWS cloud technologies and services • 5+ years experience in Agile environment • Knowledge of cloud consulting delivery methodologies and best practices • Leadership Skills: • Experience with typical service/customer support: planning, coordinating, cost optimization, software selection, customer education and support, vendor liaison, troubleshooting, problem resolution, product evaluation, and documentation • Proven ability to lead and motivate technical teams • Strong experience in performance management and team development • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Professional Attributes: • Strong business acumen
