Role Description Missio is a Christian Digital Marketing company seeking a skilled and motivated part-time Direct Response Performance Marketing Content Strategy Specialist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for developing high-converting ad copy and guiding creative direction for performance-based advertising campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube, and other paid channels. The ideal candidate will combine creativity with data-driven decision-making to craft messages that resonate with target audiences, improve click-through and conversion rates, and ultimately drive measurable results for our clients. This position operates at the intersection of strategy and creativity, working closely with ad specialists, designers, and client success managers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Review client brand briefs, campaign goals, and audience data before creating content. • Write high-performing ad copy for paid campaigns with an emphasis on clarity, conversion, and alignment with client tone and voice. • Provide creative direction for ad visuals, collaborating with designers and video editors to ensure messaging and creative work hand-in-hand. • Research target audiences, competitors, and industry best practices to shape performance-driven content strategies. • Develop messaging frameworks, angles, and test variations for A/B testing and scaling winning concepts. • Translate campaign objectives into persuasive, conversion-focused copy across multiple platforms (Meta, Google, YouTube, etc.). • Proof all ad copy and creative direction before handoff to ad specialists. • Collaborate with the performance marketing team to review results, iterate creative approaches, and optimize campaigns based on data. • Complete tasks on time and document campaign concepts, iterations, and results for knowledge-sharing. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): • Improvement in click-through rates (CTR) • Improvement in conversion rates (CVR) • Percentage of on-time deliverables • Client Satisfaction • Revenue Churn ≤ 2% Prerequisite Knowledge, Skills and Education • Prior experience writing direct response or performance ad copy required (agency or in-house). • Strong grasp of persuasive writing, psychological triggers, and storytelling in advertising. • Familiarity with paid platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads, YouTube Ads) and performance marketing strategies. • Excellent grammar, spelling, and attention to detail. • Ability to balance creativity with performance metrics. • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to translate data insights into creative strategies. • Proficiency in G-Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets).
