We, (Miracle Software Systems, Inc), are actively looking for "Sr. Technical Project Manager (PMO | Agile | Scrum | Jira)" to work #Full-Time / Contract on W2 with our Direct Client. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Position Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Project Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO) and lead the successful delivery of complex, enterprise-scale technology initiatives. This role requires a strong technical project manager with extensive experience managing cross-functional software development teams, driving Agile delivery, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who excels at coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing risks and dependencies, and fostering collaboration across engineering, product, architecture, QA, and business teams. As a key member of the PMO, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle—from project initiation and planning through execution, release, and post-implementation support. You will work closely with technical teams to define project scope, develop detailed project plans, prioritize work, manage resources, and provide clear executive-level status reporting. You will champion Agile best practices, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove delivery impediments, and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution. The successful candidate will have strong experience managing software development projects, a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and hands-on expertise with Jira for backlog management, sprint planning, release tracking, reporting, and project governance. You should be comfortable working in fast-paced Agile environments while driving continuous process improvements and delivery excellence. Required Skills: • 6+ years of Technical Project Management experience • Strong PMO (Project Management Office) experience • Expert-level experience with Jira • Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SDLC methodologies • Experience managing multiple concurrent enterprise software development projects • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills • Strong experience with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management • Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, QA, Infrastructure, Security, and Business stakeholders • Experience facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Grooming • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Experience preparing executive dashboards, status reports, KPIs, RAID logs, and project metrics • Hands-on experience with project governance, PMO processes, and delivery frameworks • Experience with release planning, roadmap execution, and milestone tracking • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, cloud technologies, APIs, and modern application development environments • Experience with Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Azure DevOps is a plus • PMP, CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, or SAFe certification is preferred Key Responsibilities: • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical projects and strategic initiatives. • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, timelines, budgets, milestones, and deliverables. • Drive Agile project execution while ensuring alignment with PMO governance standards. • Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change management processes. • Facilitate Agile and Scrum ceremonies and ensure efficient sprint execution. • Utilize Jira to manage backlogs, user stories, sprint planning, dashboards, and project reporting. • Collaborate with engineering, product, architecture, QA, and business teams to ensure successful project delivery. • Provide regular project status updates, executive reporting, and KPI dashboards to leadership. • Identify delivery risks early, develop mitigation plans, and resolve project roadblocks. • Drive continuous process improvements, delivery excellence, and Agile best practices across teams. • Ensure projects meet quality standards, business objectives, and organizational compliance requirements. Education: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
