Job Title: Sr. Technical Project Manager (Google Cloud Data & AI Platforms) - Only on W2 Location: Dearborn, MI Duration: Lon Term Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives for an automotive client. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, Agile expertise, and a technical understanding of data platforms and data pipelines. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the end-to-end delivery roadmap for complex, streaming data pipelines (utilizing BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer/Airflow, and dbt/Dataform). • Direct experience managing programs built on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically showcasing familiarity with core data components: BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Cloud IAM. • Strategic understanding of integrating advanced analytics engineering with MLOps or Generative AI orchestration pipelines (e.g., Vertex AI, vector search indexes) to drive continuous platform innovation. • High proficiency with advanced project governance and collaboration tooling (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or advanced Agile management ecosystems). • PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) are strongly preferred . Required Skills: • 8+ years of IT Project/Program Management experience with expertise in Agile/Scrum delivery. • Strong experience managing GCP-based projects using BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer (Airflow), and Cloud IAM. • Experience overseeing streaming data pipelines, ETL/ELT, dbt/Dataform, and modern data platforms. • Knowledge of MLOps, Vertex AI, Generative AI, and AI orchestration pipelines. • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and project governance/reporting tools. • Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and risk management skills. • PMP/PgMP certification preferred; Automotive industry experience is a plus. Certifications: • PMP and/or CSM certification preferred. Education: • Bachelor's Degree
