If your own family member needs daily living assistance and meets the program’s eligibility requirements, you may be paid to provide their care through this program. Please do not apply unless you have a family member who already receives or could potentially qualify for EDWP/CCSP services. Program Eligibility Requirements To qualify for this role: • Your family member (the care recipient) must be eligible for the EDWP Waiver Program. • CCSP applicants: Must be 65+ and have at least two physical conditions or disabilities. • SOURCE applicants: Must be 21+ and have active Medicaid coverage for Home Health or SSI Disability in GAMMIS. Overview We are seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to care for their own approved family members at home.As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) under the EDWP Waiver Program, you will help your loved one maintain independence, dignity, and comfort while receiving the support they need. Duties and Responsibilities • Assist with daily activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene). • Help with medication reminders and administration as directed. • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light household tasks. • Support mobility and transfers safely. • Offer companionship and social engagement. • Maintain documentation and communicate any health changes to program staff. • Coordinate with nurses, social workers, and case managers as needed. Qualifications • Must meet EDWP Waiver eligibility (for the family member receiving care). • No prior experience required — training will be provided. • Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Basic cooking and housekeeping skills preferred.
