Job Title :Sr Project SchedulerLocation: Pontiac, MIFull-time on-site Responsibilities • Lead the development and ongoing management of project, program, proposal, and contract schedules. • Establish and maintain comprehensive schedules for designated disciplines or specialties. • Develop work breakdown structures (WBS), estimate activity durations, design workflow logic, and create resource-loaded schedules. • Monitor and analyze project schedules to identify critical path activities, potential risks, and forecast project impacts. • Prepare and present schedule performance metrics, detailed reports, and forecasts to management and stakeholders. • Drive recovery planning efforts to mitigate schedule risks and resolve project or schedule delays. • Review, validate, and evaluate subcontractor schedules; recommend adjustments and process improvements as needed. • Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to track and report on schedule performance. • Represent the scheduling function in both internal and external program reviews, as well as customer meetings. • Mentor and guide junior schedulers, promoting best practices in project scheduling. • Travel as required to provide program or customer support. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. • 8–10 years of experience in project scheduling. • Advanced expertise in schedule development, monitoring, control, and analysis. • Prior experience with aerospace or Department of Defense program planning and scheduling is strongly preferred. • Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software, and Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, contract, construction, and project startup processes. • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and associated reporting standards. • PMI-SP or PMI-EVMP certification is a plus. • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interface at all organizational levels. • Demonstrated ability to manage shifting priorities within a fast-paced environment. • U.S. citizenship required. • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
