Job Title: Manager, Engagement and Operations Company Overview: Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus is a leading advocacy organization dedicated to protecting and advancing the rights of gun owners across Minnesota. With a strong commitment to community engagement and legislative advocacy, we serve as the trusted voice for responsible gun ownership in the state. Role Overview: As the Manager, Engagement and Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving member and volunteer engagement statewide. You will oversee event planning and execution, ensuring impactful outreach and operational excellence to support our mission. What You'll Do: - You will lead and coordinate statewide member and volunteer engagement initiatives to strengthen community involvement. - You will plan, staff, and manage events that promote the organization’s mission and foster member participation. - You will develop and implement strategies to increase volunteer recruitment and retention. - You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operational support for all engagement activities. - You will analyze engagement data to inform continuous improvement and report on key metrics. - You will manage budgets related to events and engagement programs, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. - You will serve as a key liaison between members, volunteers, and leadership to facilitate communication and feedback. - You will oversee administrative functions related to engagement and operations to maintain organizational efficiency. What You Bring: - You bring at least 5 years of experience in nonprofit engagement, operations, or event management. - You have strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage teams and coordinate volunteers. - You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders. - You are proficient in event planning, project management, and data analysis tools. - You have experience managing budgets and operational logistics. - You demonstrate a passion for advocacy and community building. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working within gun rights advocacy or related political organizations. - Familiarity with Minnesota’s legislative environment and community networks. - Skills in digital engagement platforms and social media management. - Certification in nonprofit management or project management.
