Job Title: Manager, Engagement and Operations Company Overview: Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus is a leading advocacy organization dedicated to protecting and advancing the rights of gun owners across Minnesota. With a strong commitment to community engagement and legislative advocacy, we serve as the trusted voice for responsible gun ownership in the state. Role Overview: As the Manager, Engagement and Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving member and volunteer engagement statewide. You will oversee event planning and execution, ensuring impactful outreach and operational excellence to support our mission. What You'll Do: - You will lead and coordinate statewide member and volunteer engagement initiatives to strengthen community involvement. - You will plan, staff, and manage events that promote the organization’s mission and foster member participation. - You will develop and implement strategies to increase volunteer recruitment and retention. - You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operational support for all engagement activities. - You will monitor and report on engagement metrics to inform continuous improvement. - You will manage budgets and resources effectively to maximize event impact. - You will serve as a key liaison between members, volunteers, and organizational leadership. - You will ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations in event and operational management. What You Bring: - You bring at least 3 years of experience in nonprofit engagement, event management, or operations. - You have strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail. - You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders. - You are proficient in using CRM and event management software. - You demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with advocacy or membership-based organizations. - Knowledge of gun rights issues and the political landscape in Minnesota. - Skills in digital marketing and social media engagement. - Experience managing budgets and fundraising activities.
