The Regional Manager oversees the operational execution and performance of multiple depots within a defined region. This role ensures adherence to company standards, supports depot leadership, drives efficiency, and maintains high levels of customer service and sales readiness. The Regional Manager serves as a hands-on field leader, working directly with depot teams and supporting company initiatives at the ground level. Our Regional Managers bring the brand to life at a regional level, ensuring depots not only meet financial and operational KPIs, but also deliver a consistent, premium, and joyful brand experience. This is not a desk job you will be in the field working closely with depot managers and frontline teams to ensure smooth operations, efficiency, and brand consistency. You will serve as a problem-solver, coach, and motivator, while ensuring company standards and customer expectations are consistently met. Regional Managers are also accountable for regional P&L delivery, contribution margin achievement, labor and overtime cost management, and maintaining compliance with DOT/OSHA/food safety requirements. Key Responsibilities General • Model Mini Melts’ core values of safety, service, and fun in every interaction with colleages and customers. • Ensure that depot culture reflects the company’s mission and values, fostering pride and consistency. • Serve as the regional Voice of Customer, feeding insights into Customer Experience and Marketing • Directly manage and support depot managers in daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety, inventory, equipment handling, and product management protocols. • Monitor branding, merchandising, and POS execution; conduct regular depot visits and reviews. • Set expectations, hold teams accountable to company goals, and lead onboarding and training for new managers. • Support field training initiatives and foster engagement, recognition, and retention. • Oversee routing, ATK service standards, and delivery readiness; troubleshoot vending and distribution issues in real time. • Drive new business growth by securing new accounts and expanding Points of Distribution (PODs) within your region. • Act as escalation point for service issues; partner with sales, marketing, and corporate support to execute promotions and customer programs. • Maintain strong relationships withtop level accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention. • Partner with sales, marketing, and corporate teams to execute initiatives, promotions and product launches. • Conduct regular depot visits and operational reviews. • Prepare regional updates and share field insights with leadership. • Track and deliver performance against explicit KPI thresholds including: • Regional Sales Growth % (vs. budget and YoY) • Revenue per Stop / per POD • Route Profitability and Missed Stops % • Customer Churn % and Key Account Health • Inventory Control vs. budget (spoilage, shrink) • Labor productivity and OT % to sales • Safety/Compliance incidents (DOT/OSHA/Food Safety). • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing Analyst to build and leverage dashboards for regional performance tracking, promotions ROI, and depot/route optimization insights. Leadership & People Development • Manage, coach, and develop depot managers; ensure accountability to KPIs and standards. • Lead onboarding, training, and development initiatives. • Foster employee retention, engagement, and recognition. • Ensure succession planning and pipeline development by: • Identifying “ready-now” successors for Depot Manager roles and key positions. • Tracking engagement scores and retention rates across depots. • Completing and documenting field coaching/training sessions. • Execute and measure the impact of regional promotions in collaboration with Marketing, ensuring ROI accountability at the field level. What We're Looking For • 3–5 years of field operations or multi-site leadership experience • Strong organizational and coaching skills • Understanding of DSD, vending, or cold-chain distribution preferred • Capable of analyzing reports and driving field-level performance improvements • Willingness to travel extensively across assigned region • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, routing and service software, and digital communication tools (e.g., Connecteam, Zendesk) • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence at all organizational levels. • Analytical problem-solver with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
