7+ years in SAP analytics/data, hands-on with SAP Datasphere and SAC, strong technical and consulting skills, and experience with legacy SAP analytics systems.
As an SAP Datasphere / SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Solution Architect at Mindset, you will design modern, scalable data and analytics solutions across complex SAP and non-SAP landscapes. You will lead clients through the modernization of their data architectures—leveraging SAP Datasphere for unified modeling and semantic design, and SAP Analytics Cloud for advanced reporting, planning, and predictive insights. This role is ideal for an architect who enjoys solving complex data challenges, guiding enterprise transformation programs, and enabling clients to unlock the value of SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC). You will work across discovery, architecture, hands-on modeling, and delivery oversight, partnering with both business and IT stakeholders to deliver high-quality analytic foundations. Key Responsibilities • Data Architecture Leadership: Design end-to-end data architectures on SAP Datasphere, including semantic modeling, integration layers, data flows, replication, and harmonization across SAP and non-SAP systems. • Analytics Delivery: Lead the design and implementation of dashboards, stories, analytic models, and planning solutions in SAP Analytics Cloud. • Modernization Strategy: Guide clients through BW/BW4 and BPC modernization into Datasphere/SAC, including architecture assessments, migration strategies, and roadmap design. • Solution Design: Build semantic layers, star/snowflake models, business entities, and analytical data sets aligned to enterprise reporting and planning needs. • Multi-System Integration: Enable cross-landscape analytics spanning S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, IBP, and other SAP cloud applications. • Performance & Quality: Ensure best practices in modeling, lifecycle management, data governance, performance tuning, data quality, and security. • Client Engagement: Lead technical workshops, design sessions, and solution walkthroughs with business and IT stakeholders. • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, data engineers, functional teams, and architects to ensure alignment and high-quality outcomes. • Pre-Sales Support: Support scoping, effort estimation, demos, and POVs for new analytics opportunities. • Travel: Ability to travel as needed up to 20–25%. Required Qualifications • Experience: 7+ years of SAP Analytics/Data experience, including 2–3+ years hands-on with SAP Datasphere and/or SAP Analytics Cloud. • Datasphere Expertise: • Data modeling (views, data sets, semantic modeling) • Data flows, integration, replication, and data federation • Understanding of Spaces, Layers, and governance structures • SAC Expertise: • Story design, dashboards, and visualizations • Planning models, forecasting, predictive features • Live vs import connectivity across SAP systems • Legacy Analytics Knowledge: Experience with BW, BW/4HANA, BEx, or BPC, including modernization or migration into cloud architectures. • Technical Skills: SQL, HANA modeling, performance optimization, and hybrid data architecture experience. • Consulting Competencies: Strong communication, requirements discovery, and ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business insights. • Architecture Skills: Understanding of data governance, security, modeling best practices, and cross-system analytics design. Nice to Have Qualifications • SAP certifications in Datasphere, SAC, or BDC. • Experience with SAP Data Intelligence, CAP, or BTP integration patterns. • Exposure to predictive analytics, AI/ML-driven insights, or advanced SAC Planning. • Experience delivering large-scale analytics programs across multi-national enterprises.
