Full Description

Product Owner The Product Owner ensures an outcome for a product is delivered that meets the requests from stakeholders and customers. This requires a fundamental understanding of the business and its constraints (financial, marketing, compliance, legal, service, the customer environment, the technical capabilities, the user experience, etc.) in order to provide a solution that satisfies all stakeholders and customers. Responsibilities: Interact and collaborate with stakeholders on key product considerations and aligns with product vision, features and roadmap Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objects and Key Results (OKRs) for the product team and ensure alignment with senior leadership (e.g., SPO, Dir, etc.) Build product backlog, prioritize its items to achieve Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and continuously keep it up to date Hold meetings with the product team to continuously update product backlog (weekly refinement meetings) Create and/or maintain key product documentation (e.g., technical specs, process mapping, etc.) Own definition of Features for delivery product roadmap; in-line with the Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) of the greater product vision outlined by SPO and/or Business Director is the final decision maker for product scope Creates and validate user story acceptance criteria Accepts user stories Define and ensure appropriate testing frameworks for product features (e.g., market testing, functional performance, etc.) Ensure product adheres to the highest quality standards Manage dependencies with other team's functions while identifying, building and managing strategic partnership across different product teams Inspect and evaluate product progress through each iteration Build a culture of accountability and ownership by empowering the product team to make decisions as close to the work as possible (We Develop Others) Work with Data stewards in their respective LOBs to ensure required Data quality controls are identified and implemented Qualifications: Effective visionary and communicator (i.e., define and effectively communicate the product strategy and vision, inspire others) Demonstrates end-to-end accountability and ownership, incl. ability to quickly make decisions (i.e., ownership of OKRs and prioritization of the backlog to achieve them) Highly collaborative with strong listening and influencing capabilities (i.e., need to get input and influence multiple stakeholders, both internal and external; non-hierarchical) Experimental mindset to drive innovation (i.e., not afraid to take calculated risks, go outside comfort zone to learn) Highly energetic, champions continues learning culture, agile mindset, product advocate, strong organizational agility Product / Domain knowledge: The in-depth knowledge of the business product (service/solution/capability). Demonstrates well-rounded understanding of Product(s) and/or Client organization Excellent Communicator and Storyteller: Both written/verbal. Creating Vision, Features, User Stories and providing clear descriptions, intent, and acceptance criteria. Provides written and verbal visualization of a product based on Vision and Product Roadmap. Elaborates in crisp and concise details. Takes it upon self to seek input and feedback on delivering excellent storytelling and crisp communication. Product Design: Creates broader communication and vision, connecting the dots for the developers and laddering up to the business goals. Takes business objectives and creating customer solutions via product design. Creates features and user stories that align to the product design. Competent at creating broader vision and connecting how customer solutions support business goals. Able to present complex problems in a simple manner. Customers & Key Stakeholders Delight: Meets/exceeds customer & other key stakeholders' expectations for exceptional user experience/meaningful customer solutions. Able to structure work independently, with help of SPO/Director Technical Aptitude: Has knowledge of the technology driving/delivering the product. Understands systems (people, processes, technology, and partners). Proven experience in technical aptitude; shows solid understanding Risk & Quality Management: Understands legal and regulatory requirements and customer commitments. Adheres to change management requirements, including understanding of risk requirements and documentation adherence. Identifies quality metrics and ensures delivery in line with expected quality goals. Understands Risk and Quality Management. Takes it upon self to learn more and ensure adherence to change management requirements are being applied. Agile Fluency: Leverages Agile framework/ecosystem to maximize value by optimizing speed to market, quality, and cost.
