Position Summary The Clinic Director is responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operations within a specific Mindful Health location. The Director may also provide clinical care, treatment, and services as needed. The Clinic Director reports directly to the Vice President of Operations at the Corporate level. The Clinic Director supervises the Lead Program Director and all clinic staff to include providers. Education & Experience: • A master’s degree in social work, psychology, nursing, human development, counseling, or a behavioral science field from an accredited college or university. • Actively licensed (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or RN) in the State of Texas to independently provide clinical care, treatment, and services. • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical assessment & diagnosis preferred with a focus on the treatment and prevention of mental, emotional, and behavioral health challenges. • Active CPR Certification Duties / Responsibilities: • Oversee all operations of the clinic to include client care, staffing, scheduling, and training. • Responsible for managing the overall clinic budget and implementing plans to correct when operating outside of budgeted goals. • Develop processes and procedures related to clinic operations and implement best practice workflows and work with corporate staff to develop and implement policies where needed • Manage employee performance by providing regular feedback and performance reviews. • Review and approve employees' time off requests and expense reports. • Foster a supportive team environment by implementing staff recognition programs and utilizing data from employee satisfaction surveys. • Ensure high-quality care is provided to all clients based on best practice and company policy. • Routinely review patient satisfaction data and implement strategies to mitigate any negative responses. • Monitor admissions and deflections to the clinic to understand potential issues with programming and/or to identify programming needs of the community. • Work closely with Business Development representatives to facilitate referral pipelines and attend community events. • Oversight of Utilization Review Process to ensure appropriate authorizations are obtained for treatment of all clients. • Implement new programs and strategies within the clinic to ensure the clinic is operating at capacity. • Monitor provider capacity to understand when to implement recruitment efforts to grow the staff. • Facilitate daily “Flash” meetings with staff clinicians. • Conduct community groups to promote healthy lifestyles and wellness in the community. • Maintain a positive, professional image in the office and in the community. • Participate in QA/QI process, ensuring clinic operations align with regulatory standards and that services are evidence-based, and treatment is evidence-informed. • Maintain regular work hours, being on time, and managing time well. • Demonstrates personal characteristics of patience, tact, cheerfulness, and enthusiasm toward the administration and clients. Must be able to appropriately respond to all types of behavior. • Address any service recovery issues timely. • Any additional duties that facilitate the effective operations of the programs and services provided • The Clinic Director is responsible for oversight of the Program Manager for Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs, as well as ongoing clinical support where needed to ensure smooth operations of the clinic and adequate support for staff. • Provide clinical services for individual clients if needed to ensure clients receive services in a timely manner. • Document all clinical encounters with clients clearly and concisely, demonstrating the therapeutic process. • Demonstrate ongoing evaluation of clients’ progress using identified outcome measures and adjust treatment plan accordingly. • Provide group psychotherapy and psychoeducation in the PHP/IOP program schedule, as needed. • Participate in the interdisciplinary treatment planning, with clients in PHP/IOP programming, as needed. • Develop and review discharge plan with the client and family, when appropriate, per discharge planning policy (MH CS 007). Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications: • Knowledge and experience in a therapeutic milieu. • Knowledge of Joint Commission and state and federal regulations related to care, treatment, and services. • Knowledge of HIPAA and other laws applicable to mental health services. • Knowledge of continuous process improvement concepts and practices. • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong interpersonal skills. • High integrity with excellent problem-solving abilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on customer service • Ability to operate a personal computer and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record (EMR) office software, Opus. • Understanding of and commitment to the appropriate protection of confidential patient information. • Ability to diagnose and treat patients experiencing behavioral health issues. • Strong patient assessment and patient management skills. • Demonstrated ability to lead others and foster a cohesive team environment.    Mindful Health offers:   • A healthy & positive atmosphere where everyone is valued.  • Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.
