Houston Senior Commercial Property Manager Needed You can work from home but you MUST live in the Greater Houston, TX area Fully remote, work from home and visit properties within 1.5 hour drive A company car is included with this job This role combines direct property oversight with regional supervisory responsibilities. You will manage a Houston-based portfolio of 200,000 square feet, while also providing oversight of third-party management teams overseeing assets in other metropolitan markets across the Midwest and Western U.S. As a senior leader on the Property Management team, you will play a key role in driving consistency, accountability, and performance across a growing national platform. Key Responsibilities • Directly manage a portfolio of conducting monthly inspections and maintaining operational and financial performance. • Serve as the primary tenant contact; foster strong tenant relationships and proactive communication. • Lead oversight of third-party property managers operating assets outside of Texas—reviewing budgets, inspecting performance, and ensuring alignment with company standards. • Prepare annual operating budgets and monitor performance across both direct and third-party-managed properties. • Manage vendor contracts, approve invoices, and ensure all properties meet company service and maintenance expectations. • Maintain accurate property data and records; monitor delinquencies and coordinate collections and legal action when necessary. • Collaborate with the Leasing Director to support vacancy marketing and new tenant build-outs. • Participate in the leadership team for the Property Management function, contributing to strategy, process improvement, and cross-market initiatives. Qualifications • Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial property management, including responsibility for multiple sites and/or third-party oversight. • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and communicate effectively across internal teams and external partners. • Strong working knowledge of retail operations, property financials, and vendor management. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; Yardi experience strongly preferred. • Ability to prioritize competing tasks, manage timelines, and maintain high standards across a diverse portfolio.
