The Information Security Analyst II will assist with information security operations and projects, including analyzing security alerts and event logs. They will also perform vulnerability scans and maintain security tools to improve the company's security posture.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2-3 years of experience with various security tools. They should also possess strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Millennium Health LLC is an accredited specialty laboratory with more than a decade of experience in medication monitoring and drug testing services, helping clinicians monitor the use and misuse of prescription medications and illicit drugs. The testing is used by healthcare professionals to obtain objective information about patients’ recent use of prescription medications and/or illicit drugs and helps monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans. * Candidate must be local to San Diego and work a minimum of 5 days in the office every 2 weeks. This individual will be responsible for assisting with information security operations and projects. Analyze and resolve security alerts Analyze security event logs Analyze potentially suspicious email to determine if it is phishing, spam or legitimate Perform vulnerability scans and analyze results Perform data discovery scans and analyze results Ongoing configuration and maintenance of security tools to improve performance and Company’s security posture Assist internal users with security related questions and issues Work with 3rd party managed security service vendors Complete special information security projects as directed Act as a constant advocate for security Other duties as assigned Ability to ensure HIPAA, Confidentiality and Compliance policy, procedures, and standards are always adhered to. Ability to ensure administrative, physical and technical cyber security controls are always adhered to.
