Office Assistant – Garment Industry Location: New York, NY About the Role We are seeking a dependable and highly organized Office Assistant to support the daily operations of our garment business. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable handling a variety of administrative and operational tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly and is eager to learn the inner workings of the apparel industry. Responsibilities • Open and distribute mail; manage incoming and outgoing packages and shipments • File and organize paperwork, invoices, and production documents • Assist with garment-related administration such as registering prints and maintaining production logs • Upload and organize images, documents, and records in shared systems • Scan and digitize paperwork for efficient recordkeeping • Maintain office supplies and ensure the workspace remains organized • Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reports, communication, and data entry • Provide General Administration support Qualifications • 1–2 years of office or administrative experience (garment or apparel industry preferred) • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong digital organization and file management skills • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Dependable, professional, and willing to learn new systems and processes • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment What We Offer • A supportive and professional work environment • Opportunity to learn and grow within the garment industry • Exposure to multiple aspects of business operations Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: In person
