Milford Gardens Rehab and Nursing – Milford, MA Shift: This position is for 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM. Candidates must be available during this time, with holidays and every-other weekends. Responsibilities As a CNA at Milford Gardens, you will: · Provide daily nursing care to assigned residents in line with state and federal guidelines. · Assist residents with personal care, grooming, mobility, meals, and activities of daily living. · Observe and report changes in resident condition promptly. · Maintain accurate and timely documentation. · Respond quickly and compassionately to call lights and resident needs. · Support restorative nursing and rehabilitation goals. · Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff. · Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in resident care areas. · Uphold customer service standards and contribute to a supportive, team-oriented environment. Requirements · Current Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing. · Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. · Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm and compassionate in stressful situations. · Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and assist residents as needed. · Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. · A positive attitude, patience, and willingness to work collaboratively with a diverse team. · Prior experience in long-term care, hospital, or healthcare settings preferred but not required. Working Conditions · Provide care throughout nursing service areas, including resident rooms and nursing stations. · May encounter residents, family members, or visitors who are upset or emotional. · Exposure to chemicals, odors, infectious waste, and diseases is possible in the course of daily duties. · Must be able to stand, sit, bend, lift, and move frequently throughout the shift. · Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required to meet resident needs.
