About the Role We have an interesting opportunity for an Office Manager/Bookkeeper who wants a role that goes beyond just managing the books, processing transactions and keeping track of the details. The person in this role will serve as a financial steward of our small, private business, doing hands-on daily accounting activities while supporting key business functions including payroll, benefits administration and coordinate office vendor and supply management. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can maintain excellent financial controls while adapting to the dynamic needs of a small business environment In-person collaboration is central to our business success and ability to meet client obligations. In-office presence is required, remote positions are not available. Who We Want · Reliable, self-starter who is organized in their work and eager to follow existing company processes · Strong bookkeeping fundamentals with high level of accuracy · Analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel · Keen attention to detail · Integrity and honesty, maintain confidentiality · Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities What You’ll Do · Manage all day-to-day accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, GL and banking · Daily cash management and reporting · Prepare monthly financial reports · Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics · Process bi-weekly payroll and maintain payroll records · Administer employee benefits, including health insurance and PTO · Maintain personnel files and HR documentation, onboarding paperwork for new hires · Manage office supplies and vendor relationships for service such as utilities, security, cleaning and repairs · Oversee maintenance and upkeep of the office environment What You’ll Contribute – Qualifications · Undergraduate or Associates degree in Accounting/Finance, or related experience · 3+ years of accounting experience · Experience with HR and payroll administration · QuickBooks experience preferred · Effective oral and written communication skills What We Offer You · Salary (commensurate with experience) · Healthcare benefits including medical and dental · Paid time off, paid company holidays · Eligibility to participate in employee stock option plan · An opportunity to do well professionally, while making a difference About Miga Solutions, Inc.
