Description: Are you a Marketing guru, interested in a position where you can make an impact? As our Creative Services & Marketing Manager, you'll collaborate with the VP of Marketing & Sales and take the lead on MIEC’s marketing and brand efforts while working closely with our team every day. LOCATION: This position can be remote, hybrid, or in-office at one of our MIEC offices located in California, Idaho, or Alaska. This position requires limited travel from time to time, including overnight stays. COMPENSATION Salary based on experience and location: • Hiring range for San Francisco Bay Area and Hawaii: $126,951 to $169,269 • Hiring range for all other locations: $109,725 to $146,300 MIEC offers competitive compensation commensurate with experience and a comprehensive benefits package. Help guide the company’s brand presence in the MPL market segment, ensuring it shines through in all products, promotional materials, and events. Also keep an eye on how well marketing efforts are working, making improvements as needed along the way. • Lead and support the company’s creative efforts by working with both internal teams and outside partners, making sure our digital marketing assets and content library are well organized and effective. • Work together with others to create, share, and publish engaging content, making sure our social media and company website offer a smooth, positive experience for our policyholders. Also, draft clear, helpful communications for policyholders, ensuring they feel informed and supported. • Help develop, implement, manage, and track department/advertising budgets. Also, keep track of how well branding and marketing campaigns are working, measuring their impact and value. • Work well with teammates at every level in the organization, ensuring projects are completed together from start to finish. WHAT YOU’LL BRING: Education: • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or related field. Experience: The ideal candidate will join us with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the following areas: • Creative/marketing operations with a corporation, nonprofit, or public relations firm. • Medical malpractice insurance industry experience. • Leading a creative team and managing marketing staff. • Building out and implementing brand strategy and marketing plans and strategic marketing/brand positioning. • Defining, calibrating, and adjusting marketing-based metrics to demonstrate ROI. Marketing/printed collateral production, interfacing with vendors and advertising partners • -printing, direct mail, email, etc Our ideal candidate will also bring a minimum of (3) years of experience in: • Planning, developing, executing and managing user experience and/or digital user interface and digital marketing campaigns, (ie. paid search, search Engine Optimization (“SEO”), demand generation, prospecting, social media marketing, and content creation). Additionally, our ideal candidate will bring experience in: • Project management, with strong planning and organizational skills, a methodical structured approach, and the ability to execute autonomously to a timeline with sense of urgency. • General MPL/Insurance marketing strategies and tactics and insurance marketing regulations. Digital Skillsets: Our ideal candidate will be a digitally fluent contributor, comfortable in a range of virtual environments and skilled with creative, marketing, and office software. • Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc. • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, and Word. • Working knowledge of Google analytics, Google Adwords, etc. • Experience with social media platforms including; Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, BlueSky, TikTok, etc., including their associated advertising platforms. • Experience/Knowledge of AI marketing best practices and modern search engine optimization techniques.
