We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This individual is responsible for producing the highest-quality anodize finish products while meeting production and safety goals. This role ensures smooth operation of the anodizing line, maintains equipment, and supports long-term continuous improvement initiatives within the department. 1st and 2nd shift available. Key Accountabilities • Maintain excellent attendance and adhere to company policies • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. regularly and 30 lbs. occasionally. • Use of hand tools requiring fine dexterity and precision. • Standing, sitting, walking, bending, and stooping for extended periods. • Exposure to occasional odors, moving mechanical parts, and airborne particles. Key Responsibilities • Ensure all company standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are met or exceeded • Continuously monitor each step of the anodizing process to ensure the quality of parts • Manage tank times efficiently to maximize production loads per shift • Perform start-up and shutdown of anodize lines using documented checklists • Communicate operating conditions, dye mixtures, and any production issues with other operators during shift changes • Monitor tank levels and ensure line readiness before each shift • Collaborate daily with the Anodize Department Manager to plan for the next shift • Handle and return color samples as required for production accuracy • Stay on the line during the shift to monitor processes, parts, and chemical baths • Maintain a clean and organized line, storing equipment properly • Perform routine line maintenance following the Tru-Chem maintenance schedule • Send daily email updates to the anodize team with status reports, job updates, and important notices • Notify the Anodize Department Manager of required maintenance or repairs • Accurately complete all required documentation, including line logs and Nadcap paperwork • Complete and maintain all required training within the LMS system • Follow proper safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, aprons, and shields • Perform other duties as assigned Midwest Staffing Group & KeyStaff Professionals prohibits discrimination against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, creed, age, sex, national origin, ancestry, marital status, familial status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, veteran status, genetic information, status with regard to public assistance, and any other characteristics protected by applicable state, federal and/or local laws. #IND1 Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Work Location: In person
