Injection Molding Press Operator (Setup & Troubleshooting Focus) Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM Monday - Friday Pay: $26-$28/hr We are seeking a skilled Injection Molding Press Operator who can independently set up presses, troubleshoot production issues, and confidently run new mold or material jobs with minimal oversight. While experience on the actual machines is not required, the ideal candidate will have solid injection molding fundamentals and the ability to apply that knowledge across different equipment types. Training will be provided, but we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running. Responsibilities: • Independently set up molds, complete changeovers, and run new mold/material jobs • Operate electric and hydraulic presses and injection blow molders safely and efficiently • Troubleshoot molding cycles and collaborate with Quality to resolve issues • Pull, install, remove, and clean molds according to schedules • Monitor mold counts, perform material tests, and ensure proper material handling • Maintain accurate process documentation and follow all SOPs • Support Lean initiatives, quality standards, and safety programs • Keep work areas and equipment clean and organized • Assist other manufacturing areas when needed Qualifications: • Proven ability to independently set up and troubleshoot injection molding equipment • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on manufacturing experience • Ability to run new mold/material jobs with confidence • Basic math, measurement, and documentation skills • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities • Able to follow written and verbal instructions Midwest Staffing Group & KeyStaff Professionals prohibits discrimination against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, creed, age, sex, national origin, ancestry, marital status, familial status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, veteran status, genetic information, status with regard to public assistance, and any other characteristics protected by applicable state, federal and/or local laws.
