Project Manager – Asphalt Paving Seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee commercial asphalt paving and site construction projects from start to finish. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, scheduling, budgeting, and managing projects while ensuring quality workmanship, safety compliance, and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities · Manage asphalt paving and concrete construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. · Coordinate project schedules, crews, subcontractors, materials, and equipment. · Review contracts, proposals, project specifications, and drawings. · Monitor project budgets, job costs, production, and profitability. · Communicate with customers, vendors, superintendents, and field personnel throughout each project. · Prepare and manage project documentation including submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and billing. · Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance. · Identify and resolve project issues quickly to keep jobs on schedule. · Work closely with estimating and operations teams to ensure smooth project handoff and execution. · Maintain strong customer relationships and represent the company professionally. Qualifications · Strong understanding of asphalt paving operations, construction sequencing, and jobsite logistics. · Ability to read plans, specifications, and construction documents. · Experience managing budgets, schedules, and multiple projects simultaneously. · Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. · Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with project management/construction software is a plus. · Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
