Assist supervisors with daily activities including scheduling, correspondence, project monitoring, administrative problem resolution, and cross-training in other departments.
Requires at least 1 year of customer service experience, strong clerical and organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
Job Summary: This position is responsible for assisting supervisor(s) with daily activities and projects performing a variety of clerical duties. Primary Job Responsibilities: • Monitors the current status of the work and projects for supervisor(s). • Maintains supervisor's travel arrangements and appointment calendar. Arranges appointments, meetings, and conferences. Contacts the appropriate persons to attend. • Attends meetings or conferences as assigned and reports on major points and actions resolved or to be taken. • Resolves administrative problems by preparing reports, analyzing data and identified solutions. • Handles variety of matters involving contact with various staff, board members, medical committees, government agencies, and the public. • Composes correspondence and disseminates to appropriate individuals. Answers phones, questions and requests. • Develops and updates administrative systems to make them more efficient. • Manage and maintain provider credentialling and licenses • Prepares various documents and handles confidential matters in accordance with clinic rules and procedures. • Ensures equipment operation, calls for repairs, maintains equipment and supply inventories, and evaluates new equipment and techniques. • Cross train in other departments (i.e. Medical Records, Reception Billing) and cover when needed. • Assisting with year CMS Quality Reporting. • Develop/Maintain electronic or filing system • Performs other duties as assigned.
