Overview Azure Office of the CTO (AOCTO) plays a crucial role in Microsoft’s rapidly expanding business, shaping Azure’s strategic and technical direction and guiding future cloud investments. Our team supports Microsoft’s mission by acting as thought leaders and key connectors. We help remove obstacles for product teams, foster innovation, develop new ideas, and address technical shortcomings. We are seeking a Technical Content Program Manager II - Azure Office of the CTO. This position amplifies the influence and capacity of our CTO by crafting engaging content and demos for various audiences. The program manager is responsible for creating executive‑ready slide decks, narratives, and technical demos for large‑scale venues such as Microsoft Build and Ignite. This role is comfortable leveraging AI to rapidly code and prototyping demo scenarios and translating complex technologies into clear stories through PowerPoint presentations and talk tracks, with a strong understanding of how Azure products and services fit together end‑to‑end. Responsibilities Organize and deliver effective speaking engagements for the CTO, including technical content creation and demos. Handle equipment setup, tech-checks, production tasks, and offer on-site support for the CTO. Collaborate with various Microsoft teams to gather insights on new products/services for events like Microsoft Build and Ignite. Tailor the CTO’s message and brand to specific audiences and customer needs. Keep up with cloud trends and share insights with the CTO and executive office. Maintain confidentiality on internal projects and initiatives not yet public. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience. 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience. 4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos). Experience building and designing PowerPoint presentations for large audiences. Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
