Project Manager (Contract) Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft. Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team focused on building a cutting-edge platform for big data processing. This role involves managing the application of multiple runtime versions, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication with various teams across India and the US. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in drafting announcements regarding runtime deprecation, tracking adoption rates, and collaborating with customer success engineering teams to address any migration issues. Job Responsibilities • Manage project timelines and deliverables related to runtime applications. • Draft announcement messages for runtime deprecation and coordinate with dependent teams for distribution. • Track adoption rates of new runtimes and gather feedback from customers. • Collaborate with customer success engineering teams to resolve migration issues faced by clients. • Maintain clear communication across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals. • Stay updated on project changes and manage shifting priorities effectively. Requirements • 5-7 years of overall experience in the field is required. • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field required; MBA or other advanced degrees preferred. • Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration across multiple teams. • Detail-oriented approach, particularly in testing and process management. • Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities. • Proficient in Power BI, SQL, Apache Spark, and big data projects.
