Program Manager (Contract) Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft. Summary This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a high-impact, strategic initiative that shapes device portfolio assortment planning across a global consumer sales organization. In this role, you will serve as the central orchestrator for a complex, multi-workstream program that spans across Consumer Sales Organization, Device Partner Sales, Silicon partners, and Regional leadership teams. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence through comprehensive assortment process planning, ensuring device collection readiness for field teams and retail partners, and delivering critical insights through forecast tracking, results analysis, and performance reporting. This position requires a highly organized, process-oriented professional who excels at managing ambiguity, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and maintaining meticulous attention to detail while operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring strategic assortment plans are successfully executed and drive measurable business impact across the consumer device ecosystem. Job Responsibilities • Maintain Collection and Hero Device lists in alignment with Device Partner Sales and Business Groups • Ensure global clarity across the Consumer Sales Organization on Collection and Hero device lists while maintaining a change management process and communication plan • Support field and retail readiness across Collection and Hero devices both directly and through Portfolio Assortment leads • Identify, document, and coordinate additional resource needs including partner-ready content, quality assurance, and tracking systems • Create and maintain templates and processes for retailer assortment planning, line logic, and heatmaps while adjusting to evolving business needs • Support rollout of new assortment frameworks, tools, and processes including materials development and training coordination • Track and analyze device collections and hero device assortment plans, results, and insights on weekly and monthly bases for top retailers • Create executive-level dashboards and summaries that highlight progress, risks, and key decisions • Conduct lookbacks and calibrations to inform future assortment, promotional, mix, and volume decisions • Consolidate and publish core content updates including presentations, scorecards, and newsletters • Lead and coordinate multi-workstream project teams across global stakeholders • Develop and maintain detailed project plans with milestones, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies • Facilitate regular status meetings and provide transparent reporting on progress and blockers • Identify opportunities to streamline assortment planning workflows and tooling • Resolve project issues, escalate risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives Requirements • 5+ years of experience within the organization or similar technology environments • 8+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects, data and reporting, and category or product support roles • Experience in Consumer Retail, Silicon, and/or Device Partners engagement • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience • Familiarity with consumer device sales channels and assortment planning • Experience supporting product marketing or category management teams • Background in technology or consumer electronics industry • Strong analytical skills with experience in portfolio planning and data visualization • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across diverse stakeholder groups • Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a dynamic, matrixed environment • Executive-level reporting and dashboard creation • Process optimization and workflow improvement Additional Details • Location: Remote • Duration: 7 months • Pay Range*: $47.50 - $53.50 per hour • Weekly Schedule: 40 hours • Job Status: Non-Exempt • Application Deadline: Apply within 72 hours of the posting date to ensure consideration.
