Overview As a Principal Product Manager on the M365 Core Copilot Infrastructure team, you will define and drive platform capabilities that enable Copilot Infrastructure scale and agility along with areas supporting capacity management, model onboarding and fine-tuning, training, benchmarking, and orchestration for both tenant-specific and BizChat scenarios. You’ll partner with engineering, data science, and scenario teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and compliant AI infrastructure powering Microsoft 365 Copilot and BizChat on a global scale. Responsibilities Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for platform features supporting capacity intake and buildout automation, model onboarding and migration, fine-tuning, benchmarking and inferencing orchestration. Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions for secure, compliant, and performant model deployment and management. Lead requirements gathering, customer/partner engagement, and backlog prioritization for Copilot platform capabilities Drive BizChat infrastructure improvements for low-latency, high-scale serving, and robust evaluation/telemetry. Measure and communicate impact through KPIs such as deployment agility, model quality, and platform health. Embody our culture and values. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree AND 15+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience. 6+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework). 8+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn). 8+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product). #copilot, #AI, #M365 Product Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $163,000 - $296,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $220,800 - $331,200 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
