Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field with 4+ years experience in Environmental Regulations, or equivalent experience, with preference for advanced degrees and 6-8+ years EHS worldwide regulations experience.
Responsibilities: - Manage environmental compliance program for operating sites and handover of construction projects to operations. - Support operations personnel in completing regulatory obligations and addressing permit requirements. - Interact with facility personnel, company management, legal counsel, environmental sustainability team, and other relevant internal stakeholders to communicate environmental requirements, identify compliance issues, act as a technical resource, and coordinate on key initiatives. - Define and implement necessary training for facility operations personnel for managing environmental issues. - Support site incident investigations. - Interact with regulatory agency personnel on major environmental issues. - Monitor development of legislative changes in the Americas, analyze potential impacts on operations, and provide updates to the site personnel. Required/minimum qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Safety and Health Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, related field AND 4+ years experience in Environmental Regulations - OR equivalent experience. Additional or preferred qualifications - Master's Degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field AND 6+ years Environmental Health and Safety Worldwide Regulations experience - OR Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field AND 8+ years Environmental Health and Safety Worldwide Regulations experience - OR equivalent experience. Environmental Health & Safety IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
