1. Job Summary: The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Lewisville manufacturing facility, including production, operational quality, scheduling, facilities, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position is responsible for supporting the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the facility while meeting customer requirements related to quality, delivery, and cost. Works closely with Production, Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, Technical Services, and other departments to establish effective operating processes, improve operational performance, maintain regulatory compliance, and support the development of a high-performing workforce. Provides leadership by identifying operational challenges, implementing process improvements, and supporting the execution of business objectives. 2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Direct and oversee manufacturing operations at the Lewisville facility to support objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) and meet customer requirements. · Develop, implement, and manage site labor plans and operational schedules to support production demands. · Establish and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operating processes to monitor performance, identify issues, and facilitate timely resolution. · Participate in and support customer audits, escalations, and business reviews, as required. · Oversee daily production activities to support throughput, on-time delivery, cycle time, and overall operational efficiency. · Partner with Planning and Supply Chain functions to align production schedules, material availability, and capacity requirements. · Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and standardize processes. · Establish, monitor, and analyze operational performance metrics, including throughput, on-time delivery, cycle time, scrap, and first-pass yield, and communicate results to leadership. · Maintain and support an effective Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards. · Ensure adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, policies, procedures, and documentation standards. · Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by supporting environmental, health, and safety programs, incident investigations, ergonomic initiatives, and regulatory requirements. · Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements, audit processes, documentation standards, and corrective action procedures. · Provide leadership, coaching, and development to production supervisors, technicians, and operators, including communicating performance expectations and supporting employee development activities. · Support succession planning, cross-training, and skills development initiatives for production and supervisory personnel. · Oversee the maintenance of equipment, utilities, and facilities to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations. · Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize unplanned downtime and maintain equipment reliability. · Coordinate capital projects, equipment acquisitions, and facility improvement initiatives in partnership with Technical Services and other cross-functional departments. · Manage relationships with vendors and service providers supporting facility and operational needs. · Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Education · Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Experience · Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations. · Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an operations leadership role. · Experience in production planning, scheduling, capacity management, and continuous improvement initiatives. · Experience in an ISO 9001 or similar quality-driven manufacturing environment. · Experience leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. · Experience in multi-shift and/or complex manufacturing environments preferred. Skills/Knowledge · Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production flow, scheduling, and capacity planning. · Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. · Ability to interpret operational data and performance metrics. · Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across functional departments. · Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. · Familiarity with ERP, MRP, and/or MES systems preferred. Licenses/Certifications · Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification preferred. 4. Working Conditions · Work is performed primarily in an office and manufacturing environment. · Regular presence on the production floor may be required. · Work may involve exposure to varying temperatures, manufacturing equipment, and moderate noise levels. · Occasional travel to suppliers, vendors, customer sites, or other company locations may be required. · Regular use of computers, telephones, and standard office equipment is required. 5. Physical and Ergonomic Requirements · Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. · Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout office and production environments for extended periods. · Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including frocks, hoods, masks, goggles, gloves, and respirators, as necessary. · Manual dexterity sufficient to operate computers, office equipment, and manufacturing-related equipment. · Visual ability sufficient to read handwritten and typed documentation, computer screens, labels, and production information. · Ability to communicate effectively and exchange information in office and manufacturing environments, with or without reasonable accommodation. 6.
