Full Description

Job Description: MicroLink is seeking a Quality Engineer to facilitate compliance with MAQMSR followed by IATF 16949 certification for its semiconductor manufacturing production line. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining an IATF 16949 quality system. Responsibilities: • Address customer corrective actions related to MAQMSR audit findings • Point person during product audits, process audits, and certification audits • Collaborate with manufacturing team to develop control plans and FEMA procedures • Implement and maintain a supplier quality monitoring system • Monitor epitaxial production activities to ensure quality compliance, track production data and generate reports • Build off MAQMSR compliance and develop, implement, and maintain IATF 16949 certification on the MOCVD production line • Write and revise work instructions and SOPs • Identify and address inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement • Support quality staff in other areas of manufacturing as needed Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering/science discipline • Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 quality system • Proven experience in developing, implementing, maintaining QMS systems aligned with ISO 9001 • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong analytical, time management and problem-solving skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite • Job offer will be contingent upon completing a successful limited background investigation • Must be eligible to work in the US, no sponsorship provided for this position Preferred Skills: • Experience in a Six Sigma environment a plus • Experience in MySQL, PHP, HTML, & Javascript, and Python About MicroLink Devices MicroLink Devices is an exciting and dynamic business specializing in the design, development and manufacture of solar cells for spacecraft, aircraft, and terrestrial applications.
