The Role The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing all sales activity within the west region. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, this individual will oversee both internal and external sales teams, develop strategic growth plans, and build long-term customer relationships. The role requires a strong leader who can execute sales strategies, onboard and develop sales representatives, and deliver consistent revenue growth across multiple sales channels. Key Responsibilities • Drive sales volume and revenue growth through the regional distribution center. • Establish forecasts, quotas, and annual sales objectives for the region. • Partner with channel sales leaders to execute on strategies for distributors, dealers, and national accounts. • Translate high-level sales strategy into actionable plans and ensure execution. • Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities, providing coaching and support to sales reps in closing deals. • Develop new business while strengthening existing customer relationships. • Lead onboarding and training of new customers on products, services, and systems. • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to inform strategy. • Manage, recruit, and motivate internal and external sales teams to achieve regional sales targets. • Travel up to 80% within the assigned region. Qualifications • 5+ years of sales management experience, including leadership of geographically dispersed sales teams. • Background in the building materials industry. • Proven success in developing new accounts and driving growth with distributors and national accounts. • Strong understanding of multi-channel sales strategies (dealer, distributor, pro-direct). • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales goals in a B2B environment. • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of creative problem-solving and hands-on leadership. • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Additional Details Role is fully remote. Must be located in the western US. Travel up to 80% required.
