It Project Manager Htc Global Services, Inc. has an opening for the position of IT Project Manager. Work location : Troy, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Job duties : Plan, schedule, monitor, support, and provide technical management for various IT projects. Guide the team in creating the sprint backlog by collaboratively selecting items from the product backlog and defining a sprint goal. Facilitate meetings where the team synchronizes their work and creates a plan. Help the team stay focused and identify any impediments. Organize meetings at the end of each sprint to inspect the increment and adapt the product backlog as needed. Ensure stakeholders are present and feedback is gathered. Facilitate meetings after the sprint review for the team to reflect on the process and identify areas for improvement. Apply Agile and SDLC (software development life-cycle) methodologies to manage budgets, timelines, and risks, ensuring efficient execution and stakeholder satisfaction. Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure deliverables meet business requirements and compliance, enabling high-quality product delivery. Train the team on Agile values and principles. Guide team in understanding and implementing the Scrum framework, including roles, events, and artifacts. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by helping the team identify and implement process improvements. Actively seek out and identify any obstacles that are hindering team progress. Work to remove impediments by directly addressing them or escalating them to the appropriate people. Facilitate communication and collaboration between the team and stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned on the project goals. Help the Product Owner manage and refine the product backlog, ensuring it is well-defined and prioritized. Continuously look for ways to improve the processes and practices, experimenting with new techniques and facilitating discussions. Track team performance metrics and use data to identify areas for improvement. Use of Agile, JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Power BI, MS Visio, Postman, MongoDB, and SQL. Requirements : This position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Project Management, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including Systems Analyst, Associate Projects, Test Engineer, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with Agile, SDLC, and JIRA. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs / week.
