We have offices in seven states with over 80 financial representatives that always put their clients’ best interests first. The Role: Junior Financial Advisor Michigan Financial Companies is looking for a quality individual with a passion for finance and helping others to join one of our advisory teams as a Junior Advisor. While building your own book of business, you will have the unique opportunity to learn from an established Advisor as you assist his clients. We all know that building your client base from ground zero is a daunting task but being a part of a team can help increase your chances of success. As a Junior Advisor, your role will be to educate, motivate and inspire your clients to take action in their financial strategy for a more secure financial future. Our team conducts business in an open architecture environment, allowing you to provide recommendations based on what is best for your client. Primary Responsibilities: • Receive comprehensive training on building relationships, managing wealth, and turning a profitable practice into a thriving business • Focus on individual development through hands-on training with the Advice team on how to deliver presentations, how to become referable, as well as how industry trends affect the planning process • Ensure the advisor is fully prepared for client meetings by reviewing and analyzing client accounts, reports, and presentations • Review and interpret clients’ estate planning documents • Participate in client meetings by recording meeting notes in debrief form and ensuring that all advisor promises are fulfilled • Have exposure to public speaking with the opportunity to master the art • Conduct data gathering meetings to obtain client information • Conduct meetings to facilitate the signing of paperwork and asset movement with clients • Create asset allocation models • Willing to obtain Series 7 and 66 registrations and CFP® designation Skills/Experience Preferred: • 4 Year College Degree, preferred not required • Polished, outgoing personality • Excellent communication skills for establishing and building client relationships • Strong computer skills • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week Work Location: In person
