Deadline: March 31, 2026 District/Organization: Lincoln Park Public Schools Position/Type: Teacher, full time Salary: According to LPEA Master Agreement Position Details DUTIES: DUTIES: • Adapt, accommodate, and modify the general education curricula, pedagogy, and learning environments for students. • Align and adapt the student’s program with the general education curriculum • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized behavior management strategies and PBIS plans. • Prepare and implement PBIS plans based upon functional behavioral assessments. • Use a range of curriculum guides to assist with identifying functional goals. • Employ current assessment instruments and approaches, intervention methodologies, strategies, and techniques that are appropriate for students linking assessment outcomes to curriculum planning. • Maintain compliance with special education timelines, required paperwork and documentation • Communicate to all members of the school & community • Meet the physical and mental demands of the teaching profession and the position • Philosophy in accordance with Lincoln Park Public Schools • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team • Follow requirements of administrators • Work collaboratively and effectively with co-teaching partners to provide specially designed instruction and meet the needs of students with IEPs in the general education classroom • Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rules, and school policy • Provide classroom instruction and serve as an instructional leader for meeting the needs of Special Education students • Other duties as assigned E-mail: JoinOurTeam@lpps.info
