The successful candidate will foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and academic growth. This full-time position requires a commitment to teaching excellence and the ability to inspire students to reach their full potential. Responsibilities – Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and cater to diverse learning styles. – Create a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, inclusion, and a love for learning. – Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, including tests, projects, and observations. – Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance and behavior. – Collaborate with fellow educators, staff, and administration to enhance the educational experience and address student needs. – Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation. – Facilitate classroom discussions and activities that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills. – Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and methodologies. – Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. – Requirements – Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. – Valid teaching certification for elementary education. – Previous experience teaching at the elementary level is preferred – Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies. – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. – Ability to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment. – Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance learning. – Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. – Commitment to fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity within the classroom. – Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the community.
