Role Overview: As a Claim Representative working from home, you will play a crucial role in assisting homeowners to receive the maximum benefits from their insurance claims. This flexible position allows you to manage your schedule while contributing to a reputable company that values your expertise and dedication. What You'll Do: - You will review and analyze insurance claims to ensure accuracy and completeness. - You will communicate effectively with homeowners to gather necessary information and provide updates. - You will negotiate with insurance companies to secure the best possible settlements for clients. - You will maintain detailed records of claims and correspondence. - You will collaborate with team members to improve claim processes and customer satisfaction. - You will participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards and regulations. - You will manage your workload efficiently to meet deadlines and client expectations. What You Bring: - You have at least 2 years of experience in insurance claims or a related field. - You possess strong communication and negotiation skills. - You are proficient with computer applications and claim management software. - You demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - You are self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in public adjusting or insurance adjusting. - Knowledge of homeowner insurance policies and claim procedures. - Previous experience in a customer service role. - Certification or training related to insurance claims.
