The Manufacturing Engineer will play a critical role in improving production processes and ensuring quality standards in the metals sector. This position requires expertise in engineering and manufacturing within the sheet metal fabrication industry. Description • Design and implement manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues. • Analyze production data and identify areas for improvement. • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all manufacturing activities. • Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes and procedures. • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. • Train and support production staff in new and existing processes. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence. Profile A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have: • A degree in engineering, ideally Mechanical or Manufacturing • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, especially within the sheet metal sector • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills. • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for manufacturing and process design. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
