Job Description • Develop and maintain a national roster of qualified contractors, including licensing, insurance, and safety certifications. • Define project scopes, statements of work, and schedules for commissioning and engineering tasks; coordinate cross-functional resources. • Oversee contractor performance on-site: conduct kick-off meetings, safety briefs, and spot-check inspections. • Manage project budgets, track labor and material costs, and provide weekly financial updates to senior leadership. • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS, HIPAA) and internal quality procedures. • Capture and upload all documentation-installation reports, test results, as-built drawings-into the central system upon completion. • Track key performance metrics (on-time completion, defect rates, safety incidents) and drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams, providing timely status updates and issue escalation. • Lead post-project debriefs, document lessons learned, and update processes and contractor qualification criteria accordingly. The Successful Applicant A successful Field Service Manager should have: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or related field. • Minimum 5 years of field service or project management experience, preferably in doors/hardware, security, or healthcare sectors. • Proven track record managing a dispersed contractor network across multiple states. • Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and healthcare regulatory requirements. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. • Ability to travel and work flexible hours to align with client site schedules.
